谢菲尔德大学法学院硕士，曼彻斯特大学法学院博士。她自2013年起先后任教于英国纽卡斯尔大学法学院（讲师）和谢菲尔德大学法学院（副教授）. 她同时兼任剑桥大学商业研究中心研究员，目前主要参与ESRC 资助的关于金砖四国法律与金融发展课题项目。 她的主要研究方向为公司治理，法和经济学， 法和经济发展。

Dr Ding Chen is currently a senior lecturer at Sheffield Law School. Previously, she worked as a lecturer in Newcastle Law school from January 2013 after completing her Ph.D in Manchester Law School. she also lectured in China Euro School of Law (CESL) from January 2014. Before moving into academic, she worked as a public prosecutor in Guangdong Province, P.R.China.
